Advisory Committees - 1998

The Advisory Committee is a body consisting of members of appropriate industries, departmental staff and other parties who have an interest in the training and well-being of students following the National Diplomas in Food Technology and Horticulture. These Committees are constituted by appointment via the head of department and is ratified by the Academic Board of the technikon.

The duties of these Advisory Committees entails meeting at least twice a year with a view to information sharing, constructive advice regarding courses and course content, in-service training opportunities, as well as being a channel for the department to disseminate the latest in teaching and student development at the technikon.
